Booking your Appointment
There is a minimum age of 15 to book and attend an appointment.
A £10 deposit is required to book an appointment. This amount will go towards the total cost of your Service, so you will only have to pay the remaining balance at the end of your appointment.
This deposit is non-refundable within 24 hours of the appointment, as it covers my time and costs in reserving and preparing for your appointment. Beyond the deposit no further cancellation fees would apply, this means you will not be charged any extra amount for the Service in the event of last minute cancellation or no show.
You are able to reschedule your appointment through Square Appointments if it is more than 24 before the appointment. If you do need to cancel please contact me with at least 24 hours notice. As long as it is not within 24 hours of the appointment I can refund your deposit for a cancellation, or move the deposit to a new appointment.
If for any reason I have to cancel your appointment due to my own circumstances your deposit will be fully refunded.
Attending your Appointment
Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you are running late please contact me as soon as possible. I will always try to accommodate but please be aware that any lateness may impact my ability to complete your Service, or may incur additional fees for extra time.
I have space for one additional person to be present in my studio, but please be aware that I do not allow anyone under the age of 15 in my studio. This is for both my own safety and yours, as I work with potentially dangerous chemicals.
When you arrive for your appointment I will go over your details and complete a client intake form - this is something that is required by my Insurance. All of your details are kept secure digitally and in line with GDPR. You can find out more information about my data compliance here.
I will inspect your nails and hands to make sure it is safe to put product on them. If there are any issues I may not be able to complete the Service. If this is the case, your deposit can be moved or refunded.
Aftercare
Once your appointment is complete and you have a fresh set of nails, it is important to take care of them. When you leave the studio I will give you aftercare instructions which help to lengthen the life of your nails.
If you have any issues with your nails please contact me. Any lifting or breaking within the first four days is fixable free of charge if you contact me as soon as possible.
After four days I charge a broken nail fee per finger of £3 to cover the cost of reapplying.
Getting Here
The studio is a converted detached garage, so you won’t have to enter the main house to get here. Please go to the gate to the left hand side of the house, at the end of the left hand drive. Please then ring the doorbell and I will come to let you in.
If you have any trouble finding me please don’t hesitate to contact me.
By Car
The main road into Hamble is Hamble Lane. Please be aware this road can be very busy at peak times and this can be made worse by road works. If there are any road works I will be posting about them to my social media stories.
No need to worry about finding parking, I have two driveways for you to choose from! Please park on whichever has space.
By Train
The closest train station is Hamble and is a 0.8 mile walk, which is around 17 minutes. Trains travel towards Southampton or Portsmouth and there is around one service for either direction an hour.
More information about train times here.
By Bus
The closest bus stop is Beaulieu Road and is a 2 minute walk. Google Maps will try to direct you to walk along Hamble Lane and then down Sydney Avenue or Beaulieu Road, please ignore this. Once you get off the bus turn left, back towards the way you have come. Walk around 200 yards and an alleyway will appear on your right. This alleyway leads to Flowers Close.
There is only one bus that serves Hamble, the Bluestar number 15, which goes every 30 - 35 minutes to Southampton Central.
